Cardio Based HIIT Class: HIIT sessions designed to improve cardiorespiratory fitness, Physical Capacity, and Body Composition. This class consists of a classification of exercise which typically involves short intervals of high-intensity exercise, interspersed with static or active recovery periods. This type of exercise is typically performed as a time-efficient alternative to steady-state aerobic training as individuals are able to maintain high-intensity exercise for longer periods of time. Monday and Thursday: 9:30 – 10:30 BST 10:30 – 11:30 BST 19:00 – 20:00 BST 20:00 – 21:00 BST Resistance Based HIIT Class: HIIT sessions that emphasize mechanical loading rather than physiological loading and use a range of free- and body-weight compound movements that follow functional training principles. Whist the relationship between resistance training variables is complex, the characteristics of resistance workouts be manipulated to achieve a specific training outcome (i.e. muscular strength, hypertrophy, endurance, power, coordination, balance). Tuesday and Friday: 9:30 – 10:30 BST 10:30 – 11:30 BST 19:00 – 20:00 BST 20:00 – 21:00 BST ABS & Gluteus: If you want to tone your core and gluteus, this is the class for you! This 50 minute live virtual class focuses on strengthening and toning the abdominal muscles and gluteus using props like a step, resistance bands, free weights and your own body weight. Wednesday and Saturday : 9:30 – 10:30 BST 10:30 – 11:30 BST 19:00 – 20:00 BST 20:00 – 21:00 BST Please book these £20/hour classes at the indicated hours, because this purchase is not valid for the other hours, which are for 1:1.
