I am Dhanya, a professionally certified yoga instructor (500 YTT). I have been practicing yoga for the past 15 years and teaching for 3. I conduct in person classes in Chennai, India and online classes for people around the world.

I specialise in Hatha Yoga (using asanas to restore balance in the body), Bandas (blocking and releasing postures, to increase energy flow within) and Mudras (symbolic gestures).

I have a postgraduate diploma in Yoga Education from Vivekananda Yoga and Research Institute, Mysore, India.

Class at your time 

A private class appointment that you can book within my available irregular hours.

Hatha Yoga, Bandhas and Mudras classes at a time chosen by you on Saturdays, at £30 per hour for 1 to 1 online on Zoom

My qualifications 

To know more about my preparation to become a good yoga teacher, please see my qualifications here below:

a Post Graduation Diploma in Yoga Education (PGDYED), a Pranayama and Meditation Workshop and another one in Ashtanga and Vinyasa, as I continuously invest in YTTs and self-improvement to teach yoga to everyone.

Thanks to my Bachelor of Commerce degree I have refined and further developed my clear and structured communication, organisation and time management skills: all capabilities that help me to deliver highly appreciated yoga classes. I also speak 6 languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Tullu, Malayalam).
